Horse Racing Tips: Frost Ludlow Mount Supported
After the excitement of Fairyhouse, Irish racing takes a break today and thus we have just three British meetings to delve into. Without further ado let's get into those Naps, stats and news segments for Tuesday...

Follow The Leaders
Things are tight at the top in the Naps table as the competition edges closer to its completion date for the Jumps season at Sandown. West Country holds top spot by just over a pound of profit and is siding with Fergal O'Brien's BEFORE MIDNIGHT in the 16:30 at Ludlow as the best bet of the day. In this six runner Open Hunters' Chase, he has strong claims with Ben Sutton in the plate and if ignoring his last run and reverting back to front-running tactics he could be hard to peg back.
On The Nose sits second and waits for Wolverhampton for his best bet, siding with DELICACY in the 18:30 at Wolverhampton. Richard Hannon has Sean Levey in the saddle for this maiden and while she is yet to win thus far, there has been promise in her few runs. She has had a long break of 140 days and the Saxon Warrior filly may well improve bundles now beginning her three-year-old season.
Spotlight comes in at third place and in the 16:15 at Pontefract will be backing BUSTEAM. Danny Tudhope is booked for David O'Meara and this looks by far the most likely winner, even with a ten pound penalty, if he arrives here in the same form as he showed ten days ago when romping to a Doncaster handicap win. Of course the hike in the weights makes things difficult, but he is clearly in rude health and warrants huge respect.
- West Country - Before Midnight - 16:30 Ludlow - P&L: £11.62
- On The Nose - Delicacy - 18:30 Wolverhampton - P&L: £10.11
- Spotlight - Busteam - 16:15 Pontefract - P&L: £5.14
Tuesday's Most Popular Naps
By far the most popular Nap on Tuesday, with six experts siding with the horse, is EL SAVIOUR for Lucy Wadham in the 15:00 at Ludlow. He has a seven pound rise in the weights to contend with, however on his last start he won and pulled well clear of the field with another potentially smart rival so in the fullness of time that seven pound hike could look on the lenient side. Wadham clearly has the horse thriving and with so much support behind him, it is hard to see him not featuring barring no mishaps at his obstacles.
Just one horse has been picked out as the best bet by three experts and that is veteran sprinter VINTAGE CLARETS in the 15:15 at Pontefract. Richard Fahey's charge had a wonderful 2023 with four wins over the minimum trip and providing he is not rusty after five months off, he looks to have outstanding claims with Oisin Orr to take the ride at the speedy track that is Pontefract.
Stats The Way We Like It
Jamie Snowden is in red-hot form of late, and his 50% strike-rate over the past fortnight sees him comfortably clear at the top of the trainer form table. He has one live chance with Gavin Sheehan in the plate today at Ludlow, which you can check out on our stats zone...

Racing News Round-Up
- Intense Raffles Scoops Irish National - At the tender age of six, Thomas Gibney's new stable star INTENSE RAFFLES won the €500,000 Irish National yesterday at Fairyhouse. Who knows what he can go onto achieve in the double green.
- Any Second Now Gallant Once More In Defeat - At the other end of the experience scale, ANY SECOND NOW ran a belting race for second at the ripe old age of twelve. He won the 2019 Kim Muir before placing in two Aintree Nationals before this close loss. Ted Walsh has done a brilliant job to keep this admirable staying chaser sweet over the years and he really has deserved a big pot.
- Constitution Hill Has 'No Chance' For Punchestown - The star horse of his generation CONSTITUTION HILL will definitely not run at Punchestown and his season is done, according to owner Michael Buckley. The team are hopeful he will be back fit and firing next winter.
