Lucinda Russell's Corach Rambler is a very prominent figure in the betting and the dual Cheltenham Festival winner, who was last seen retaining his Ultima Handicap Chase crown last month, will now look to bag the biggest prize of all at Aintree on Saturday afternoon. The Russell team know what it takes to win the National having saddled One For Arthur to glory a few years ago and in Corach Rambler they have a real strong staying type that could excel at the test.
Heavily backed over the last few days the Henry De Bromhead-trained Ain't That A Shame is now sitting towards the head of the market and will be looking to hand Rachael Blackmore her second win in the Grand National and the potential improver has to be respected for a top notch yard who saddled Minella Times to glory a couple of years ago.
Reigning champion Noble Yeats stormed to a shock 50/1 win last year, but he is nowhere near that price this year as he has blossomed into a top-class Graded horse. The Emmet Mullins-trained eight-year-old has a much tougher task on his hands here as he runs off a much higher mark, but he was an excellent fourth in the Cheltenham Gold Cup last month, so lines up in form.
Another Cheltenham Festival winner at the head of the Grand National Odds is Delta Work, who was last seen getting the better of Galvin in the Cross Country Chase and that Gordon Elliott pair are to line up here, and Delta Work showed when finishing third that he is a classy performer that warrants respect.
Willie Mullins is set to have a strong team heading to Merseyside and last month's National Hunt Chase winner Gaillard Du Mesnil will spearhead the Closutton team, but Classic Chase runner-up Mr Incredible has been well supported of late and is one of the eye-catchers towards the lower half of the weights.

Ted Walsh's Any Second Now will have the burden of top weight, but has been placed in two Grand Nationals, so is sure to be popular amongst many people's Grand National Tips, while the Martin Brassil-trained Longhouse Poet is another that ran very well in last year's contest and is back for another crack and is another sitting in the upper echelons of the betting.
The rapidly improving Le Milos was a fine winner of the Coral Gold Cup Handicap Chase at Newbury earlier in the season and Dan Skelton's runner could well be one of the surprise packages in the race, while the Sam Thomas-trained Our Power has won both races this season and looks another that could be ahead of the handicapper.
With so many heading to post with a chance then punters will have an array of selections in the race, so why not check out our Grand National Free Bets section that provides a whole host of offers for new customers. One thing is for sure though whoever finishes first past the post on Saturday will etch their name into Grand National history and we are set for an epic showpiece.
