Grand National Odds 2022: The latest betting for the Aintree showpiece

We are only a couple of weeks away from the 2022 Randox Grand National, and we take a look at the latest odds for the Aintree showpiece, which is run on Saturday 9th April, and pick out some eye-catching movers in the latest betting...
Gordon Elliott's Delta Work broke Tiger Roll's heart in the recent Cross Country Chase, as the former downed the dual Grand National winner in his last career start, and Delta Work is now set for a trip to Aintree for the world's greatest steeplechase. Having been immediately cut from around 40/1 to 14/1 for the Grand National following his fine win at the Cheltenham Festival, Delta Work has attracted continuous support, and the Cullentra House inmate is now vying for favouritism, and is generally a 9/1 chance.
Delta Work is now attempting to topple recent Bobbyjo Chase winner Any Second Now off the top of the betting, as that Ted Walsh-trained raider, who was placed in last year's National is looking to claim glory in the Merseyside marathon, and Any Second Now is also available at 9/1, and that pair will spearhead the Irish challenge.
The aforementioned Elliott has an embarrassment of riches for the 2022 National, as he currently holds 14 of the 78 entries, and with eight of them guaranteed a run at this stage he could well have an excellent chance of claiming another win in the race. Escaria Ten (10/1) was touched off by Any Second Now in the Bobbyjo, but is one that will relish the test of stamina the National offers, while the likes of Run Wild Fred (20/1), who was second in the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham, and former Festival winners Farclas (22/1) and Mount Ida (33/1) add yet more depth to the Elliott charge.
