Reigning Grand National hero and current ante-post favourite Noble Yeats has been allotted 11st 11lbs for the 2023 renewal of the world's greatest steeplechase, which takes place at Aintree racecourse on April 15. A shock 50/1 winner of last year's Grand National, the Emmet Mullins-trained Noble Yeats is a general 10/1 shot for the 2023 renewal as he attempts to emulate the mighty Tiger Roll by landing back-to-back wins in the Aintree showpiece, and he's been given a weight of 11st 11lbs to carry in this year's event.
Hugely progressive this season, which has seen him turn into a potential Cheltenham Gold Cup contender, Noble Yeats will face a much stiffer task in this year's event, butt he manner in which he stormed to victory suggested he could be more than capable of landing a significant blow in the April 15 race.
Runner-up in last year's race, Any Second Now is one of the three horses handed 11st 12lbs and Ted Walsh's raider will be hoping that he can reverse last season's form with Noble Yeats, while former Irish Gold Cup winner Conflated and the hugely progressive Hewick is the third and final star to be handed top weight.
Lucinda Russell's Corach Rambler is a prominent figure in the betting around the 16/1 mark at the moment and the Cheltenham Festival winner showed he had an abundance of stamina last season and he has been handed 10st 5lbs which would certainly appeal to some looking to place an ante-post bet, while Martin Brassil's Longhouse Poet (16/1) ran a fine race for a long way last time out in this event and he's been given 11st by the handicapper.

Willie Mullins will have a multitude of favourites heading the Cheltenham odds ahead of next month's Cheltenham Festival and the master of Closutton should have a strong team heading to Aintree and they could be spearheaded by the impressive Thyestes Handicap Chase winner Carefully Selected and that raider has been handed 11st 1lbs, while current National Hunt Chase ante-post favourite Gaillard Du Mesnil is another leading Mullins runner and he has been allotted 11st.
Gordon Elliott has an array of entries for the contest and the Cullentra House inmate could unleash Delta Work, who was a superb third in this race last year, and while the Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham will be first on his port of call the 20/1 shot has been handed 11st 4lbs, while another couple of eye-catching Elliott runners are Galvin (11-11) and Fury Road (11-6).
As per usual, the Grand National odds are wide open with a multitude of runners likely to fancy their chances of running a huge race in the 2023 renewal, so make sure you check out the full list of Grand National Weights below and there's no doubt that the Grand National betting could change considerably over the coming days as punters take the weights into consideration.
