There are seven meetings taking place on Friday and the most intriguing card comes at Goodwood this afternoon as both the Listed Height Of Fashion Stakes and Cocked Hat Stakes have attracted decent fields. As well as Goodwood there's alternative racing this afternoon at Bath and Haydock Park, while there's a quartet of fixtures from Curragh, Downpatrick, Worcester and Catterick this evening. We preview all the action here and pick out some of the most eye-catching best bets on what is a busy day's racing in the UK & Ireland...
We have tips from seven meetings on Friday.
William Haggas and Tom Marquand have struck up an excellent relationship in recent times and the pair have some huge chances at Goodwood on Friday and the first popular choice amongst our racing tipsters is Lysander, who is a 6/4 chance for the Cocked Hat Stakes at 15:20. Earlier on in the afternoon, Haggas and Marquand will team up with the 7/4 market leader Sea Silk Road in the Height Of Fashion Stakes at 14:10 and three tipsters including Marlborough from the Daily Telegraph have picked out the Sea The Stars filly as the best bet of the day.
The Scout of the Daily Express has been in tremendous tipping form of late racking up a trio of winners and the form tipster is taking on the aforementioned Lysander with Natural World, who is a 3/1 chance for the 15:20 at Goodwood and looks to be a huge contender in a competitive contest.
Other notable selections at Goodwood include 12/1 chance Stockpyle in the 13:35 at Goodwood, who is the best bet of Lambourn of the Racing Post, who sits second in the naps table, while Templegate from The Sun has tipped up Spinaround in the same 13:35 contest.
Expert Eye from On The Nose continued a fine start to the current naps table and duly notched up a 14th winning nap from 28 selections on Thursday, and with a profit of £40.21, the top tipster has headed to Catterick's evening fixture for the best bet of the day.
