Horse Racing Tips: Marmar to strike at Ascot for Balding and Moore
We had a fabulous day on Thursday in the daily column as we banged in 11/2 and 9/2 winners, and we are back on Friday to try and point you in the right direction of more winners as six race meetings take place across the UK & Ireland. Today's racing starts at Newcastle at 13:05, while there's alternative afternoon action at Haydock and Ascot, while there's three evening fixtures from Down Royal, Kilbeggan and Kempton. We preview all the action here and pick out some of the most eye-catching best bets from our army of racing tipsters here...

Andrew Balding and Ryan Moore will team up with Al Marmar in the 15:45 at Ascot on Friday afternoon and that three-year-old is a red-hot 5/4 favourite to land the spoils and has caught the eye of three of our tipsters in an intriguing contest. A winner on his last visit to the Berkshire track, Al Marmar was last seen finishing fifth in a competitive York handicap, but this looks easier today and the likes of Luke Tucker from the Cambridge Evening News and Robin Goodfellow of the Daily Mail fancy the Balding raider to prevail.
It could prove to be a very profitable afternoon for Moore, who partners our other most popular selection on Friday as he teams up with Amanda Perrett's Rebel Territory in the 16:20 at Ascot, and that charge is currently a 2/1 chance to claim victory. Napped by three of our racing tipsters including Matt Polley from the Ipswich Star and Alex Hammond from Sky Sports Racing, Rebel Territory was last seen finishing a creditable sixth in a hugely competitive Glorious Goodwood handicap, and today's assignment looks a lot easier on paper, so that raider should be tough to beat.
Going in search of a fourth win on the spin the Geoff Harker-trained Rocket Rod will bid for the four-timer in the 16:01 at Newcastle, and the 6/4 market leader is The Spotlight tip of the day, and it's hard to not see the form horse land more success as he continues to rocket up the handicap in fine style, as he looks to defy an 8lb rise.

Naps table leader Expert Eye extended his lead at the top of the standings on Thursday with a stunning 11/2 winner and now sits with a fine profit of £47.21, and the form tipster heads to Ascot's 17:25 race for the best bet of the day. The table-topper is backing the 100/30 chance Majestic Fighter to land the spoils, and the Roger Charlton-trained raider showed signs of his best last time out when second at Sandown Park and a repeat of that effort should see him go close in the finale.
Haydock Park will host the Group 1 Sprint Cup tomorrow afternoon with the likes of Minzaal and Naval Crown bidding for victory, but the Lancashire track hosts some decent Flat action on Friday afternoon and a few eye-catching tips at the track include the 8/1 Eeh Bah Gum, who runs in the 15:38 race and is the best bet of Garry Owen from the Daily Record, who sits second in the naps table. Rory Delargy from The Irish Field, who is third in the naps table also heads to the 15:38 contest and is back in the 14/1 outsider Amor De Mi Vida.
Other notable naps at Haydock include the Tracy Waggott-trained Ghathanfar, who is 4/1 for the 15:03 contest and is the best bet of Jon Freeman from The i, who is bidding for a third winning nap on the bounce, while Newsboy from the Daily Mirror has napped the 7/2 chance Spear Fir, who is 7/2 for the 16:48 contest.
