Horse Racing Tips: Chris looks a Cool tip at Wetherby for form tipster

Chris Wright from the Liverpool Echo is the form tipster in the naps table as he has racked up a trio of winning naps on the bounce and he heads to Wetherby this afternoon looking for the four-timer and attempting to pull further clear at the top of the naps table. Wright has napped the Oliver Greenall & Josh Guerriero-trained Chris Cool, who is 4/1 for the 16:25 contest, at the time of writing. The seven-year-old was a winner on his hurdles debut, but has failed to get his head in front since and will have his fourth start over fences this afternoon. He failed to fire at Wetherby last time out off 100 and runs off that same figure today, but the step up in trip should aid his chances and he has to be respected.

The most popular nap of the day runs in the 15:25 at Wetherby as the Ann Hamilton-trained Dare To Shout has been napped by three tipsters for that contest, as he looks to land the prize at 5/2. Jon Freeman from The i and The Brigadier have both napped Hamilton's raider, who has won his last two over hurdles at Kelso and Newcastle and is now looking to land a handicap prize off a mark of 126, and he looks to stand a terrific chance.

Two tipsters have landed back-to-back winning naps over the last two days and the first of those is Jeffrey Ross from the Sporting Times, who has napped the 4/1 shot Violeta in the 18:50 at Newcastle. Secondly, Moorestyle of the Daily Star Sunday is another going in search of a hat-trick and that tipster has napped Charles Weld's Fenomeno, who is a 12/1 chance for the 18:30 at Dundalk.

The Sunday Express tipster has fallen off top spot in the naps standings this week, so they will be looking to get back on the summit and have headed to Lingfield Park for Friday's nap of the day. The tipster, who still has a healthy profit of £20.01 has put up the 15/8 chance Rubina Rose as the best bet of the day in the 15:35 contest. Marco Botti's three-year-old broke her maiden tag at the fifth time of asking last time out at Wolverhampton off a mark of 63 and she will look to follow up off 68 this afternoon and has to be respected.

For those punters heading to Southwell's afternoon card could take a chance on Barney's Bay in the 14:05 race, as that 8/1 chance has been napped by Farringdon from the Morning Star. Tim Easterby's course winner has struggled to get his head in front in recent times, but is 9lbs lower than his last winning mark, so has to be respected in what should be a hugely competitive contest on the all-weather.

There's a fascinating veterans handicap chase this evening at Wexford at 18:10 and one contender that has been napped is Gavin Cromwell's Darver Star, who will have the burden of top weight, but the former top class performer, who is 9/4 for today's event, is the best bet of Andrew Bladen from the Wolverhampton Express & Star.
