Horse Racing Tips: Check out the best bets for Friday's action from Newmarket and six other meetings
There are seven race meetings taking place on Friday and the main attraction comes from Newmarket as they host day two of the July Festival, and the star filly lining up will be Inspiral, who's a red-hot favourite for the Group 1 Falmouth Stakes. There's alternative action from York and Ascot this afternoon, while a quartet of evening fixtures take place at Cork, Kilbeggan, Chester and Chepstow. We preview all the action here and pick out some of the best bets from a host of racing tipsters...

The action starts in front of the ITV racing at Newmarket at 13:50 with a competitive handicap event, but four racing tipsters believe the Charlie Appleby-trained New London can prove to be a cut above his rivals and the 9/4 favourite has proven extremely popular. Last seen finishing second in the Chester Vase when sent off a red-hot odds-on jolly, the Godolphin raider failed to sparkle, so will be on the comeback mission here. The likes of Garry Owen from the Daily Record and The Scout from the Daily Express have napped New London, who dominates the head of the betting.
However, Appleby's charge will face some notable opposition in the event and Marlborough from the Daily Telegraph, who sits in third place in the naps table fancies the 4/1 shot Yonafis in the same 13:50 contest, while Whistler from the Sunday Telegraph is backing the 7/1 chance Reelemin, in what looks a thrilling opening event on terrestrial television.
There's more competitive handicap action later in the afternoon at Flat HQ at 15:00 with 16 runners going to post for the 1m 6f bet365 Trophy and the Sir Mark Prescott-trained Summer's Knight maybe a eye-catching 10/1 chance for the event, but that double-figured priced contender has been napped by four tipsters. The likes of Postdata from the Racing Post and Paul Kealy from The Weekender have napped the Prescott charge, who was last seen finishing a creditable fifth in the Northumberland Plate at Newcastle.
Two other popular horses with our racing tipsters are the Simon & Ed Crisford-trained Flotus, who is 9/4 for the 14:40 at York and has been napped by three tipsters, while returning to Newmarket, Maylandsea has been napped three times for the 14:25 race, and that runner is currently available at 13/8 with the bookmakers.

There's a quality Flat card at Ascot this afternoon and the current naps table leader Expert Eye, who has a fine profit of £50.55 is backing the 5/6 favourite Soulcombe to win the 14:50 event, while the second placed tipster Melissa Jones from the Mirror Online has kept things simple by napping Inspiral in the Falmouth Stakes at 15:35, a race the filly is available at the prohibitive odds of 1/6.
Rory Delargy from the Irish Field has taken a real chance on his best bet of the day, as he has napped the 33/1 chance Uber Cool in the 15:00 at Newmarket, and that is the biggest priced selection of the day, while Ian Gaughan from the Irish Herald is another opting for a big priced contender and is backing the veteran sprinter Duke Of Firenze, who is a 20/1 chance for the 17:00 at York.
One final double-figured priced contender that is worth taking note of is the Richard Fahey-trained Umm Kulthum, who is 14/1 for the 14:40 at York and is the best bet of Dean Kilbryde of the East Anglian Daily Times on what is a busy day's racing across the UK & Ireland.
