Horse Racing Tips: Cattistock tipped for Cheltenham glory on Friday
Cheltenham will have to pass a 10:30am inspection on Friday to get the go ahead for the first day of the International meeting, while there's alternative racing at Doncaster, Wolverhampton, Bangor, Southwell and Dundalk. We take a look at all today's best racing naps from across the UK & Ireland and pick out some of the most eye-catching selections...

Fergal O'Brien's Captain Cattistock was a promising third at Cheltenham's October meeting and the nine-year-old will look to build on that effort this afternoon when lining up in the 14:25 contest at Prestbury Park. Currently available at 5/1, Captain Cattistock has proven one of the most popular selections of the day with three tipsters napping the O'Brien charge, who will face some notable rivals in a fascinating staying event.
Karl Hedley from The Irish Post is taking on Captain Cattistock with the 13/2 chance Eva's Oskar, who was a gallant runner-up to Does He Know at Cheltenham last month and Tim Vaughan's charge is a leading rival, while The Punt from the Racing Post has taken a chance with the Cheltenham regular Spiritofthegames, who is available at 14/1, and has always shaped like he could be capable of landing one of these events.
Other eye-catching naps at Cheltenham on Friday include the Milton Harris-trained Mullenbeg, who is a 100/30 chance for the 15:00 race and is another napped by three tipsters. Spotlight from the Racing Post is one of the three tipsters to nap the Harris raider, who has racked up three impressive wins on the bounce, but will face his stiffest test today switching to Prestbury Park.
RP Ratings from the Racing Post heads to the 13:50 contest and has napped the 14/1 outsider Dame du Soir, while at 12:40 The Score from Racing TV has put up the 9/4 chance Gentle Slopes as the best bet of the day on what should be a decent day's racing at Cheltenham.

Bangor and Doncaster also have to pass morning inspections, so let's focus on some of the all-weather racing taking place on Friday and Southwell and Dundalk will provide some of the Flat action on Friday and there are some eye-catching naps from those two tracks.
Over at Southwell this evening, Newsboy from the Daily Mirror heads to the 17:45 contest and has napped the 5/1 shot International Law, who is a course and distance winner and was last seen finishing second at Wolverhampton, so will head into today's event in decent form. Looking to kick off Southwell's card on a winning note is Rory Paddock from the Jersey Evening Post, who heads to the 16:15 race and has napped the 3/1 shot Coast, while at 19:15 Glendale from The Scotsman has napped the 8/1 chance Bungley.
Andrew Mount from the Racing & Football Outlook has veered across the Irish Sea to Dundalk and the top tipster has napped the 15/2 shot Jazzy Dancer in the 19:00 race. Fifth at the track last time out, the four-year-old will need to build on that effort and will run off the same mark of 57 today, so has to improve to land a blow. Later on in the evening, Brian Flanagan from the Irish Daily Star has napped the 3/1 chance Collective Power in the 20:00 race, and Edward Lynam's runner is a former course winner, so has to be respected.
