Horse Racing Tips: Check out Thursday's tips from Punchestown and across the UK
Having tipped up a brace of winning selections in Wednesday's column, which included the sensational Allaho, we now turn our attentions to Thursday's racing which provides six meetings, with the obvious highlight being day three of the Punchestown Festival. We pick out some of the best bets of the day tipped up from our host of racing writers, and look to point you in the right direction of a few winners again...

Willie Mullins will bid for more Grade 1 glory on Thursday and one of his contenders that has proven popular is the 5/6 favourite Gentleman De Mee, who bids for glory in the 18:35 Barberstown Castle Novice Chase, and the star chaser has been selected by four tipsters as their best bet of the day. A fine winner of the Maghull Novices' Chase at Aintree's Grand National meeting earlier this month, the progressive six-year-old has been napped by the likes of Lee Sobot from the Yorkshire Evening Post and Luke Tucker from the Cambridge Evening News.
The feature race of the day is the Grade 1 Ladbrokes Champion Stayers Hurdle at 17:25, and Jon Freeman from The i has tipped up the 13/2 shot Thedevilscoachman, while Andrew Bladen from the Wolverhampton Express & Star has napped the 6/4 market leader Klassical Dream, while recent Aintree Grade 1 winner Sire Du Berlais has been napped by The Scout from the Daily Express.
Veering away from Punchestown for the time being, there's some competitive Flat action at Redcar and one horse that has proven extremely popular is the 15/8 chance Pub Crawl, who has been napped by four of our racing tipsters for the 14:10 contest, with the likes of the RP Ratings Tipster and Rockavon from the Sunday Mail putting the Michael Bell-trained three-year-old up as the best bet of the day.
Katie Scott's Colinton is bidding for a fourth win in five outings and the 2/1 is another that has caught the eye of a number of our racing writers, with three of them napping the in-form contender for the 16:00 at Musselburgh.

With four winning selections recently Expert Eye has rocketed to the top of the naps table, and the form tipster bagged another success yesterday and heads to Redcar's 14:10 contest for the best bet of the day. Expert Eye has selected the 13/2 chance, Viadelamore, who will have the burden of top weight in today's event, but was last seen finishing a decent second and could be open to more improvement.
Jason Heavey of The Star is the red-hot tipster in the naps table at the moment as he's racked up six winning naps on the spin, and he looks to make it seven on the bounce on Thursday and heads to Chepstow for the best bet of the day. Heavey has selected the Rod Millman-trained Sir Plato, who is a 4/1 chance for the 17:00 contest and is a four-times course winner, so has to be respected.
For those looking for a big-priced selection at Punchestown today could side with The Irish Sun tipster, who has selected the 16/1 chance Panda Boy as the best bet of the day in the 18:00 race, which looks a hugely competitive renewal of the Conway Piling Handicap Hurdle that will have a bumper field line up.
