Royal Ascot Thursday Tips: RaceOlly's five best bets for day three

After bagging three places yesterday, RaceOlly is back with his best bets for day three of Royal Ascot, and our star tipster has five bets for Thursday's action...
14:30 Royal Ascot - Norfolk Stakes
This is a very interesting race and there’s a few that caught the eye last time. Pillow Talk was my first port of call as I was taken with her performance last time and it’s interesting the yard kept her and Dramatised apart. Preference in this though is for Irish raider CRISPY CAT who’s already shown a high level of form finishing 2nd in back to back Listed races, the first when short headed by the Coventry 4th Blackbeard who went off 5/2 and was a little unlucky not to go closer still and the second when beaten a neck by the Queen Mary 3rd Maria Branwell. For someone who’s form has been franked so much already this week it’s interesting to find him still available at double figure prices. Silvestre De Sousa a very interesting booking for a yard he’s ridden for just twice before and is a very good judge on horses who like to go forward.

15:05 Royal Ascot - King George V Stakes
This is another race where my eye was immediately drawn to another (Israr) but after further digging I opted for VINA SENA. The step up in trip is key here on breeding and especially on last run at Navan where he was tailed off early on before flying home to grab a good 2nd. Henry De Bromhead has had fantastic seasons over the jumps and books Jamie Spencer here who he has a 100% win record when booking. Double figure draws have won this 11 times in the last 13 years so drawn high in 16 is a big plus and down the bottom of the handicap is another big plus.

16:20 Royal Ascot - Gold Cup
BURNING VICTORY is a Triumph Hurdle winner although admittedly at the expense of the Goshen final flight mishap and continued that with a decent season over jumps this year. Last season's Flat form was very good and Cesarewitch 2nd was better still with the first two a mile clear of the rest with the winner winning a Grade 2 hurdle soon after before missing the rest of the season injured. Stepping up further in trip for this looks a good move and could unlock further improvement and there’s question marks about plenty at shorter prices that make this one a very interesting each way prospect.

17:00 Royal Ascot - Britannia Stakes
OH HERBERTS REIGN put in a good performance for us last time out when just running out of stamina at the end in a decent race at Epsom. Form of his last mile run has been franked and has a 11lbs turn around with the favourite here for an eight length defeat which makes him of interest especially at the massive odds available. Only beaten a nose the time before when caught on the line over this trip too and that was yet another solid run over eight furlongs. Still improving and best run this season came last time trainer Richard Hannon is due a winner after a few near misses already this week.

18:10 Royal Ascot - Buckingham Palace Stakes
I’m doubling down on my Michael O’Callaghan bets tomorrow by finishing on FASTNET CROWN. Fastnet Crown might have only won once but he has some very smart form including placing in the English and Irish Cambridgeshires last year, very impressive for such a competitive handicap and has three solid runs this season in Ireland beaten no further than five lengths while looking ready to strike off this handicap mark when the time is right and headgear being ditched for this is a intriguing move. Four-year-old with a double figure draw is ideal.
