Today's Horse Racing Tips: Places Going for gold at Lingfield

There is just one bet for today’s racing at Lingfield.
Lingfield Tip
14:05 – 7f Bombardier British-Hopped Amber Beer Handicap (Class 3)
A son of Frankel and out of a dual Listed and Group 3-winning mare, GOING PLACES (NAP – 1 point win bet at 7/2) is certainly bred to be a smart performer. After two defeats for Roger Varian, this lightly-raced five-year-old bolted up over today’s course and distance on his first run for Archie Watson back in January. There was much to like about that performance, which was also his first run since being gelded, and the form has been boosted by the horses placed in second (won since) and third (won twice since).
He was then sent off as the 6/4 favourite at Kempton 46 days ago and led until deep inside the final furlong before weakening close home to finish third. That was his handicap debut and he is fancied to go well now back at Lingfield and off an unchanged mark.
Stall 1 is the perfect draw for this confirmed front runner and he will once again have the services of the superb Hollie Doyle. Doyle has ridden 31 domestic winners already this year, including a double at Newcastle yesterday. One of those came for the in-form Archie Watson yard and of her six rides today, Going Places looks to have the best chance.
Lethal Lunch should also run well, and the booking of Ryan Moore aboard Zhui Feng catches the eye. The other one worth a mention is the unexposed Sky Commander, who is 1-1 on the All Weather.
