Robin Des Smoke - 13:45 Plumpton

Robin Des Smoke appeared to relish the switch to the hurdling sphere after running moderately in bumpers and the Richard Phillips-trained raider can taste a maiden success on Monday by claiming victory in the 13:45 contest at Plumpton. Second at Wetherby earlier this month, the six-year-old is sure to come on for that outing and she can get the better of Hollymount Holly who sits at the head of the betting, at the time of writing.

Rookie Trainer - 14:48 Plumpton

A winner on his third start over hurdles, Rookie Trainer can record another success on Monday and claim victory in the 14:48 at Plumpton. Neil Mulholland's charge has failed to build on that first success at Fontwell back in October, but shaped better last time out when fourth at Wincanton. The gelding has had a wind op since that effort last time out, and the step up to three miles should play to his strengths and he can claim the win.

Tribesmans Glory - 15:18 Plumpton

The Olly Murphy-trained Eaglehill is a red-hot favourite for the 15:18 contest at Plumpton and rightly so, but if Tribesmans Glory can put in a clear round of jumping then he could well cause a shock in an intriguing contest. A faller on his last two starts, the Tom George-trained seven-year-old had previously won over fences, so has shown he can produce the goods, and with conditional Thomas Doggrell taking 10lb off his back then he is effectively 1lb higher than his last winning mark.
