Today's Horse Racing Tips: Back this value play in the Beverley Bullet

I really fancied yesterday’s two selections but both horses disappointed and never looked like winning. Hopefully I can land a winner or two today. Good luck if you have a bet.
Beverley Tip
15:15 – 5f William Hill Beverley Bullet Sprint Stakes (Listed)
Only 14 three-year-olds have contested this race in the last ten years and five of those have been placed. At such a big price, I am taking a chance on SHOW YOURSELF (0.5 point each-way bet at 25/1) making the frame in this year’s renewal. Despite looking to have an impossible task on ratings, this daughter of Acclamation comes here in fine form and will carry just 8-9. In the first three places in eight of her ten starts to date, James Tate’s filly has won her last three races and crucially they have all been over this course and distance. It is therefore no surprise to see her stepped up significantly in class to tackle the feature sprint at the track, and she should make a bold bid from the front. If the task proves too much, Significantly and Wise Words are feared most and Judicial can never be ruled out here.

Newmarket Tip
17:05 –1m2f Close Brothers Property Finance Handicap (Class 4)
The Galileo filly CAMBRIDGESHIRE (NAP - 1 point win bet at 10/3) is closely related to the Group 1 winner Dick Whittington and cost 150,000gns as a yearling. Having shown some promise in her first three starts, she improved significantly on her handicap debut at Nottingham 25 days ago to finish third. I was on course that day and have been checking her entries regularly since. Outpaced and green in the straight, she then ran on strongly close home giving every indication that she was in need of a greater test of stamina. She will get that opportunity today as she steps up to 1m2f for the first time, and she should also benefit from the uphill nature of the finish at Newmarket. She runs off the same handicap mark of 70, gets in off bottom weight and has the eye-catching jockey booking of Andrea Atzeni.
