Today's Horse Racing Tips: Sunset to shine at Salisbury on Sunday

With average odds of 26/1, it was no major surprise to see all five of yesterday’s selections beaten. Troubador (33/1) ran best of the quintet to finish fourth and I fancy him to return to winning ways in the coming months.
There is one bet for today’s racing at Salisbury.
Salisbury Tip
16:08 – 7f David & Sandra Wedding Anniversary Fillies’ Handicap (Class 5)
Trainer Ed Walker has his horses in fine form and has sent out seven winners from just 23 runners in the last 14 days. Champion Jockey Oisin Murphy has also been firing in the winners and is an impressive 6-18 when riding for Walker this season. The pair team up today with SUNSET BAY (NAP – 1 point win bet at 9/4), who looks to have plenty in her favour.
Although she was beaten in all three starts as a two-year-old, she did finish fourth in the Newmarket maiden won by the subsequent 1000 Guineas runner up Saffron Beach. She then made a pleasing seasonal reappearance at Thirsk last month, finishing second and ahead of two horses that have won since.
A line can be drawn through her defeat at York last time out as it came in a higher grade and over a mile on soft ground. She weakened inside the final furlong that day and should benefit from this drop back to seven furlongs and the return to a fast surface. She is also dropping down to Class 5 company and lines up off a 2lb lower handicap mark.
The biggest danger is Kindred Spirit, who finished a very respectable third in a decent sprint at Windsor 34 days ago.
