Horse Racing From Home: Tune into our new podcast!
Introducing the Horse Racing From Home Podcast! Join Nick Seddon as he chats to some key figures in racing to find out how they're coping on lockdown, and also to discuss some of the big topics in racing at the moment.
We hear from Grand National-winning jockey Daryl Jacob, who shares how he's handling a break from the sport, and also looks back on some of his finest moments in the saddle - including when winning at Aintree on Neptune Collonges in 2012.
Nick also chats to trainer Kerry Lee, who gives us an insight into what life is like for a Jumps yard at the moment, before reflecting on her star mare Happy Diva's wonderful season. We also hear an update on Destined To Shine, who we filmed a short documentary on earlier in the season over on HorseRacing.net.
Last but not least, Nick has an extended chat with the broadcaster Rishi Persad, who talks through his lifelong love for horse racing, and how it began in his native Trinidad and Tobago. In a varied conversation, Rishi also touches on some of his favourite racing moments during his career, before giving his views on the debate about whether the Cheltenham Festival should have taken place.
