Horse Racing Tips: Sunday selections from Fontwell and Naas
There are three race meetings on Sunday 27th February from Hereford and Fontwell in England and over in Naas in Ireland. There are a couple of graded races in Ireland but the race of the day comes from Fontwell in the shape of the Grade 2 National Spirit Hurdle where we've seen plenty of attention from the nation's best tipsters. We've amalgamated all the tips from the National Press and the Racing Post naps competition in one place and highlighted where the attention this Sunday is going...

With just a couple of weeks away from Cheltenham, the last of the prep races have been run on the whole but there's a grade 2 at Fontwell this afternoon which could see some runners turn up in the handicap hurdles at the Festival.
The most napped horse of the day comes in this race in the shape of Monmiral trained by Paul Nicholls who enjoyed success on Saturday at Kempton with a win in the Pendil Novices' Chase.
Amongst those napping up the five year old are Garry Owen of the Daily Record in Scotland, Marlborough of the Daily Telegraph and The i's Jon Freeman.
In all the horse has attracted seven tips in the race and he can be forgiven his run in the Fighting Fifth last time out at Newcastle and was a high-class juvenile last season.
Priced around the 10/3 mark, he's up against race favourite and last year's winner Brewin'upastorm who is best price 9/4 for a repeat here. A faller at Cheltenham earlier in the season he could well have won all three races he's run this term and has been tipped up 10 times for this race on Horseracing.net including three naps including Steve Mullington of 888Sport who currently sits second in the Naps Table with a chance to narrow the gap at the top with leader Farringdon having put up a non runner today.
Monmiral
Elsewhere across the cards today, 1/2 shot Nassalam in the 13:50 at Fontwell races is the most tipped up horse of the day attracting the attention of 11 tipsters. The Jamie Moore trained five year old carries top weight here but he's a course and distance winner and already has plenty of smart form in the book. He's a short price alright but could be a useful addition to your multis on Sunday.
Another odds on shot running at Fontwell (16:20) is the popular Jett for the Waley-Cohen's. An easy winner last time out at Kelso, he holds an entry in the Grand National and in with a slim chance of making the race needing nine to come out. At 8/15 he's main rival will be Shantou Flyer (6/4), another horse ridden by its owner in David Maxwell and he holds an entry in the Kim Muir at Cheltenham.
The biggest price tip of the day comes from Naas in the shape of Mr Jackman at a whopping 100/1. The John McConnell trained six year old goes in the handicap hurdle at 17:00 and has does have a win to his name earlier in the season at Hexham but has gone off the boil since. Racing Post TOPSPEED obviously think he's worth a sneak though making it their tip for the race.
Finally, looking at the form tipsters, Mercury of the Daily Post is looking for three in a row today with the Gordon Elliott trained Hiaou in the BetVictor Novice Hurdle at Naas at 15:00. In what looks like a competitive race, you can get around 10/3 around the chances of the five year old who was a winner last time out at Punchestown.
