The weekend is fast approaching but before we sink our teeth into the big races on Saturday, there is another busy day in the world of racing this Thursday. Racing begins at 14:00 at Beverley and a total of seven tracks are hosting cards. The last race of the day is set for 20:42 at Ayr and sandwiched between these contests we will see racing from Salisbury, Wolverhampton, Leopardstown, Tramore and the Racing League at Windsor...

With so many races taking place today it is no surprise to see a massive variety of opinion on the Naps table of who each pundit thinks is the best bet of the day. Only one horse has been chosen by 3 or more pundits, with a total of four experts picking current 7/4 shot QUEEN REGENT in the 16:40 at Salisbury. Running Lion disappointed as the best backed Nap yesterday for the Gosdens but it is they that train this filly once again. Oisin Murphy takes the ride.
Horseracing.net says: "Although the claims of Queen Regent are strong, it is worth noting that she will be taking on a seriously talented rival in Truthful for Haggas and Marquand. Both fillies come here off a break and make their turf handicapping debut and we are struggling to split the pair, so would recommend caution for any punters that are confident in this trappy looking contest.

Follow The Leaders
Farringdon has gained notoriety for his big priced winners over the years and our current Naps table leader will be hoping to add another to his long list today by choosing BROOMY LAW, a 20/1 poke at Wolverhampton, as his best bet of the day. Still a maiden after 21 runs on the level, the case is not particularly obvious but on rewatching his last run here just three days ago there is something to latch onto in the headway he made towards the finish. Farringdon will be hoping he can kick the boosters in a tad earlier and contest the finish this time around.
In second place Luke Tucker is actually taking on the aforementioned most Napped horse with Truthful, and that looks set to be one of the most eagerly anticipated clashes of the day.
