Horse Racing Tips: Born to Rule for Prescott at Wolverhampton

Sir Mark Prescott's yard has been banging in the winners of late - notching up four winners from his last four runners - and he will look to make it five on the spin this afternoon when he sends to Born Ruler to the 16:10 at Wolverhampton. The three-year-old son of Kingman notched up a first victory last time out in a novice stakes and will now look to claim victory in handicap company for the first time. The 3/1 shot, who has been napped by the likes of Tipman Tips and Newmarket from the Racing Post, has been handed a mark of 73, which looks inviting as he's shown some notable form to date.

However, he will face a lively adversary in the shape of David Loughnane's Hat Toss, who has also been napped three time for the same event and the New Bay gelding was last seen finishing an eye-catching second at Haydock Park last time out. Still a maiden, Loughnane's charge has been upped 6lbs for that Haydock event and runs off 74, but shaped like he could be more than capable of delivering from that mark and Lawrence Taylor from At The Races is one of those that fancies him to prevail.

Brighton host some competitive Flat action this afternoon and a tipster in decent form is current naps table leader Luke Tucker from the Cambridge Evening News, who has napped two winners on the spin and is aiming for a hat-trick of winning naps today and has put up the 6/1 shot Georgia Madeleine as the best bet of the day in the 14:23. A course and distance winner, the filly was last seen finishing third at Lingfield and is only 3lbs higher than her last winning mark, so has to be respected,

Dean Kilbryde of the East Anglian Daily Times is the real form tipster in the naps table as he has racked up a trio of winning naps on the bounce and he heads to Hexham's National Hunt fixture this evening and has picked out Rattle Owl as the bet of the day in the 19:20 race. Jedd O'Keeffe hasn't won for a couple of years, but has been slipping down the weights and a mark of 114 looks workable if the 11/2 shout can return to his best form.

Farringdon from The Morning Star is going in hot pursuit of current naps table leader Luke Tucker and Farringdon is another tipster heading to Brighton this afternoon and has put up the 7/1 chance Freetodream in the 14:53. The lightly-raced maiden is having a sixth start today and is 3lbs lower than his last mark, so has to be given a notable chance if capitalising on a dropping handicap mark.

Other eye-catching naps on Tuesday include 15/8 Alphonse Le Grande, who is the best bet of Ian Gaughran from the Irish Herald, and runs in the 15:45 at Punchestown, while at Huntingdon's afternoon Jumps fixture Judicial Law has been napped by West Country from the Racing Post for the 16:30 contest.
