Horse Racing Tips: Dionysian to strike in Racing League at Southwell

There's a bumper day's racing on Wednesday as seven fixtures will take place across the UK & Ireland and the highlight of the day will be the Racing League, which moves into week 6 and will take place at Southwell this evening in front of the ITV Racing cameras. We will look to point you towards a few winners by picking out some of the selected racing naps from our naps table, as well as look at some of the big racing stories...

Most Napped Horses Today

Three horses have proven popular with our racing tipsters on Wednesday and the first of those to run will be the Eve Johnson Houghton-trained Buccabay, who lines up in the 16:00 at Bath and is a well-fancied 7/4 chance, at the time of writing. Heading into this evening's racing and the Racing League will be the main event for Flat racing fans and Southwell will play host to week six and the most popular nap on the card is the Stuart Williams-trained Dionysian, who is 7/2 for the 18:45 race. Sir Michael Stoute will saddle the 11/8 chance Let Life Happen in the 20:00 at Kempton and that Freemason Lodge inmate has proven to be the other most napped horse from our naps table as another trio of tipsters have napped that charge for glory.

Horseracing.net says: "Buccabay and Let Life Happen are well fancied to land their respective races today and it could pay to put them in a tasty double, but the standout of the three tips is Dionysian, who is worth backing at 7/2. Last seen finishing fifth in the Racing League at Newcastle, the three-year-old has been dropped 1lb by the handicapper for that effort, so will line up off 80 this evening and if he can improve on that run in the north east then he could well score today in a competitive-looking betting heat.

Follow The Leaders

With a profit of £45.23, Chris Wright of the Liverpool Echo remains at the top of the racing naps table and the red-hot tipster has a comfortable lead at the summit and he heads into Wednesday's racing looking to pull further clear and he has headed to the 20:15 at Southwell. The penultimate Racing League contest, Wright has napped the 8/1 shot Manila Scouse, who has won two from his last three starts - including a win in the Racing League at Chepstow - and he looks to be a lively player at decent odds. You have to head for the 16:00 at Bath for the nap of the day for the second and third placed tipsters and both The Punt and Farringdon will do battle and the former has napped the abovementioned Buccabay, who is the likely market leader. Meanwhile, Farringdon is taking on that hotpot with Heroism, who is available at 5/2, at the time of writing, and the pair should fight out the finish.
