14:25 York - Coral Sprint Trophy Handicap
There's a hugely competitive 6f event at York at 14:25 and the likes of recent Ayr Silver Cup winner Wobwobwob and the top-weighted Summerghand will be leading contenders, but the Andrew Balding-trained KING'S LYNN is dangerously handicapped to run a big race and at huge odds looks a cracking each-way bet in what is one of the betting races of the day on the Knavesmire.
A former Group 2 winner of the Temple Stakes at Haydock Park, King's Lynn has struggled to land any sort of blow in competitive handicaps of late, but has been dropped to an eye-catching mark of 99 for this contest and on his first trip to York he's one not to ignore. He showed signs of finding some form when sixth in the Portland Handicap at Doncaster two starts ago, but disappointed at Ascot last time out, but this contest could see him bounce back to form and he's a huge price to run well.

14:40 Newmarket - Club Godolphin Cesarewitch Handicap
Gordon Elliott's PIED PIPER was a fine second in the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March and he will be look to land a notable staying prize on the Flat on Saturday and he looks the one to beat in the Cesarewitch Handicap, which takes place at Newmarket at 14:40. The Cullentra House inmate will have the help of Ryan Moore in the saddle and he warmed up for this event with a decent run at Killarney on the level and off a mark of 96 he looks very tough to beat.
A huge field will take their chance in the 2m 2f event and the likes of Vino Victrix and The Shunter could be notable contenders, but Pied Piper will be using this as a springboard to a potential tilt at the 2024 Champion Hurdle in the spring and he can bound to victory in this event and send favourite backers into raptures.

15:35 York - Coral Racing Bet Bundles Handicap
Sir Michael Stoute's Believe In Stars will bid for a third victory on the bounce when lining up in the 15:35 at York on Saturday, but the Freemason Lodge inmate could prove vulnerable to the William Haggas-trained LA YAKEL, who returned to winning ways and looks more than capable of landing back-to-back wins. The four-year-old son of Time Test was a one-length winner at Doncaster last time out and has always shaped like he could be a 100-rated handicapper.
He has been handed a 4lbs rise by the handicapper for that victory on Town Moor last time out, so lines up off a figure of 99 in this event and if Cieren Fallon can get the four-year-old rolling from a long way out then he could very hard to peg back in the closing stages and he can duly notch up a fourth career success.

15:50 Newmarket - Earthlight Darley Stakes
George Boughey's RAADOBARG has been a real model of consistency this season, but has failed to get his head in front, however, that can all change on Saturday as he can storm to victory in the Group 3 Darley Stakes at Newmarket at 15:50. Last seen finishing a fine third to Chindit in a Listed event at Sandown, the five-year-old has some really smart form in the book and if Ryan Moore can get a tune out of him here then he's the value play.
He has form on soft going, so any rain that hits Newmarket in the lead-up to the race will help his cause and while he will need to produce a season's best to win this event he has the capabilities of downing the likes of Knight and Highland Avenue, who sit prominently in the betting at the time of writing.
