13:50 Goodwood - Coral Kincsem Handicap

COURT OF SESSION ran a decent race last time on turf to finish 2nd and proved himself as effective on turf as the all weather. Same mark here and step up in trip is interesting. Simon and Ed Crisford have a 21% win rate in handicaps this year and have a decent 19% singles rate at Goodwood over the last five years.

14:25 Goodwood - Richmond Stakes

LEGEND OF XANADU might not have a load more improvement to come unlike others here but he’s already proven himself to be capable of winning a race like this. Beaten by Chateau last time who reopposes again, but this race will suit a lot more with a likely strong pace to aim at.

15:00 Goodwood - John Pearce Racing Gordon Stakes

GRAND ALLIANCE did enough to win a Group 2 last time and had the race in the bag until drifting late on and ended up being beaten a short head. The winner is very useful winning three times and finishing 5th in the Derby this year. Had handled similar tracks well and should relish the challenges Goodwood brings. Trainer Charlie Fellowes has a 33% win rate over the last two weeks after four wins from 12 runners and has a 24% win rate when booking Danny Tudhope over the last five years.

15:35 Goodwood - Qatar Nassau Stakes

VILLE DE GRACE has some solid form in the book and is overpriced based on the latest run which was a little underwhelming, but can be forgiven given the quick turn around. Ended last season on a Group 3 win and returned after a 205 day break when finishing 2nd in a Group 2 when headed right on the line and beaten a nose after drifting close home. Winner Dreamloper reopposes here and is under half the price and Sir Michael Stoute has had two winners from his last four runners.

16:10 Goodwood - Jaeger-Lecoultre Nursery

A case can be made for Coco Jack in this at a huge price but it was SELF PRAISE that reeled me in in the end. The way the race will likely pan out could really play in to his hands and the first time cheekpieces could also bring out more improvement. All that on the back of opening his account with the maiden win at Chester last time and booking of talented claimer Harry Burns on handicap debut catches the eye.

16:45 Goodwood - World Pool Handicap

SOPHIE'S STAR won on stable debut at Musselburgh and was caught right at the death when a narrow defeat in a listed race next start. Went hard last time when stepping up to six furlongs and just failed to keep it up but drop back to five for this is ideal. Rail draw and a lightening cruising speed are huge pluses here at a big price.
