July Festival Day 2 Tips: Live Your Dream To Star At Newmarket

We are set for an excellent second day of the July Festival at Newmarket on Friday afternoon, and Steve Chambers has picked out his three best bets for the Flat action...
13:50 Newmarket - bet365 Handicap
Andrew Balding's Foxes Tales was a hugely impressive winner of the Golden Gates Stakes at Royal Ascot last month, but a significant 9lb rise could halt his momentum and while he has to be considered a key contender for the bet365 Handicap at 13:50 on Friday he may just come unstuck.
John & Thady Gosden's Peter The Great could be attractively handicapped off a mark of 92 as he was last seen winning a novice event in impressive fashion, but he will need to improve again as he takes on some classier rivals, and while he's entitled to be a prominent figure in the betting he may just come up short.
An eye-catching runner is the Mark Johnston-trained King Frankel, who was sent off favourite for the aforementioned Golden Gates Stakes, but could only finish fourth. A real model of consistency, this son of Frankel has been placed in every start this season, but has only managed to get his head in front once. That win at Pontefract came in an excellent time, so if he can reproduce that effort here then he has to be a major challenger. He will be significantly better off at the weights with Foxes Tales from their Ascot meeting, and around the 15/2 mark, at the time of writing, he warrants excellent value.

15:00 Newmarket - bet365 Trophy
Amtiyaz was a fine winner of the Copper Horse Stakes at Royal Ascot, and the John & Thady Gosden-trained raider will attempt to follow up on Friday in an ultra-competitive bet365 Trophy at 15:00. He got the better of Global Storm in that event last month and that pair will lock horns again here, but could ultimately be vulnerable to a more progressive horse further down the handicap.
Saeed bin Suroor's Live Your Dream has been on a real roll of late and has tasted victory in three of his last four outings. His last success came over two miles on the all-weather at Wolverhampton, so with stamina assured for this 1m 6f contest then he has to be considered a real player. Upped significantly by the handicapper for that six length success, the Godolphin raider will need to improve in this tougher race, but he has the scope to continue on an upward curve.
The son of Iffraaj performed with credit last time out on turf, as he was second at York over one-and-a-half miles, but the step up in trip appears to be the making of him, and he can bound to victory in this fascinating, wide open betting heat.

15:35 Newmarket - Falmouth Stakes
There's an absolutely scorching renewal of the Falmouth Stakes as the likes of 1000 Guineas heroine Mother Earth locks horns with Coronation Stakes winner Alcohol Free, but that pair could come unstuck to a hugely progressive filly in the shape of Primo Bacio, who lines up a fresh horse and could prove to be the best in the line-up.
Ed Walker's daughter of Awtaad was last seen winning a Listed event at York, and was primed for a crack at the Coronation Stakes, but testing going forced Walker to scratch him from that Royal Ascot event, and instead she's been rerouted to here. With a host of these runners having been seen at Royal Ascot, then Primo Bacio will benefit from a longer break, so she should be in fine form to produce the goods.
She was mightily-impressive when winning at York earlier in the season, and shaped like she could be a real Group 1 performer come the end of the season, and while she faces a stern test for this event, she could just have everything in her favour to run a mighty race.
