Olly Murphy's World Trip ended last season in progressive fashion with a win and a second at Perth seeing him rocket up the ratings, but he could prove vulnerable on his first start of the year in the 12:52 at Market Rasen, as a Nicky Henderson-trained raider can bound to victory. Five-year-old GO CHIQUE ended last season with a win at Southwell, and he's sure to strip fitter for a run at Ascot last month. Dropped 1lb for today's event and with the top claimer Ben Ffrench Davis taking off 7lbs then the Seven Barrows raider can capitalise on his eye-catching mark. Quicker ground should certainly aid his chances, while a step up in trip is another positive for a horse that will carry top weight here.

Emma Lavelle's SAM BARTON has shaped like he could be a progressive chaser this season, but he was slightly disappointing on his chase debut at Ascot when he finished fourth of seven. Looking to build on that effort in the 13:52 race at Market Rasen, Sam Barton is sure to improve jumping wise for his debut experience over the larger obstacles, and Lavelle has reached for the cheekpieces today to try and aid his chances. A maiden hurdle winner in January, Sam Barton will need to show that sort of form here to play a notable role, but he's shaped like a potentially exciting performer over fences, so he's worth keeping on the right side of.

Laura Morgan's TAQWAA was rated in the low 80s on the Flat, but is yet to excel in the National Hunt world yet, but having shown promise at Stratford last time out, the eight-year-old can continue on an upward curve over timber by claiming victory in the 14:55 at Market Rasen. Dropped 2lbs following that Stratford run, Taqwaa will take his chance off a mark of 92 this afternoon, so if he can find any of that Flat form then he looks to stand a terrific chance in a mediocre contest on Thursday afternoon.
