Today's Racing Tips: Two to back at Wolverhampton this evening

I have picked out two bets for tonight’s racing at Wolverhampton.
Wolverhampton Tips
20:00 – 1m1½f #betyourway At Betway Handicap (Div I) (Class 6)
Trainer James Evans has only had three runners in the past fortnight and two of them have won. He now sends the ex-Godolphin horse MASQOOL (1 point win bet at 7/2) to Wolverhampton in search of a second career victory. After being beaten by just a nose on his handicap debut in December, this lightly-raced and improving type won a shade cosily on the Tapeta at Southwell next time out. He has been a beaten favourite in both starts since but has had excuses each time. From stall 6 tonight, the hope is that he can avoid a troubled passage and outclass his rivals off what looks a very workable mark of 57. On the evidence of some of his recent finishing efforts over a mile, the step up in trip should suit this son of Invincible Spirit, and Dougie Costello travels to the course for just this one ride.
Masqool

20:30 – 1m1½f #betyourway At Betway Handicap (Div II) (Class 6)
Scarborough Castle comes here in good form and should go well again. However, preference is for the Chelsea Banham-trained CAPRICIOUS (NAP – 1 point win bet at 11/2), who is fancied to complete a hattrick of wins. This daughter of Harzand was a surprise 25/1 winner here at Wolverhampton back in November but proved it was no fluke by following up in good style the following month. She therefore comes here in fine form, and the manner of her two wins would suggest that a 3lb rise won’t be enough to stop her going in again. She’s had subsequent winners in behind her on each occasion so the form looks solid for the class of race. There doesn’t look to be an abundance of pace in the race, so Joey Haynes will be able to take up a good position aboard this prominent racer and can pounce off the home turn.
