He settled better in front compared to when he ran too keen on his first start for 106 days just before Christmas. With proven early pace, Connor Beasley should once again be able to take the field along and a 5lb rise shouldn’t be enough to halt the progression of this unexposed type, especially as he receives weight from all but one of today’s rivals. His form figures in All Weather handicaps now read 1231 and both wins have been on Tapeta.
