Today's Racing Tips: Charm to succeed at Wetherby

There is one bet for today’s racing at Wetherby.
Wetherby Tip
15:15 – 3m racingtv.com Handicap Chase (Go North Red Rum Series Qualifier) (Class 4)
Trainer Stuart Coltherd has his horses in really good form with his last 11 runners recording impressive and consistent form figures of 22143314313. The majority of those have been ridden by son Sam and the family duo team up again today with the lightly-raced eight-year-old DEEP CHARM (NAP – 1 point win bet at 6/1). Beaten by just a neck in a bumper, this son of Kayf Tara then showed little over hurdles. However, he has looked much better over the larger obstacles and has clearly needed time to mature. Second on his chasing debut at Kelso back in November, he then ran out a 13-length winner at Hexham next time out. He perhaps wasn’t suited by the drop back in trip on slightly better ground for his next start, finishing a respectable second after travelling well through the race. Stamina looks his forte and with conditions set to be challenging, today’s three-mile test should be ideal. After just eight career starts, he remains potentially well handicapped off his mark of 109 and will receive weight from all but two of today’s rivals. Dhowin and Timeless Beauty, both lightly raced types and in good form, complete the shortlist.
